Sam and Michelle Perkins (seated) of Highland are the proud parents of a set of twins-Samuel Darrell on the left and Briea JeanMarie on the right-who arrived Wednesday morning, Jan. 2. During ceremonies Friday afternoon, hospital Community Relations staff Stacy Albers (far left) and Karyn Whitlatch (far right) presented gifts from the hospital, including newborn photo packages from the Women and Infants Center, and area businesses. The family also received $100 United States Savings Bonds from the Breese Lions Club and quilts from the hospital Auxiliary. On hand for the ceremony were grandmothers Rebecca Perkins (center, left) of Creve Coeur, Mo., and Jean Rinderer (center, right) of Highland.
