Neurologist Panduranga Kini, MD, to see patients Tuesdays at St. Joseph-Breese

Board-certified neurologist Panduranga Kini, MD, has been reappointed to the consulting staff at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese and is now seeing patients the second and fourth Tuesday afternoons in Suite 4 of the hospital Specialty Clinics Building.

This is the second time Dr. Kini has been at St. Joseph's in Breese; he was previously on the consulting staff from 1999 to 2000.

Dr. Kini has practiced medicine in Belleville since 1982 and currently has an office in Swansea. In addition to St. Joseph's in Breese, he is on the medical staffs at St. Elizabeth and Memorial Hospitals in Belleville.

A diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Kini completed his neurology residency at Naussau County Medical Center in East Meadow, a medical internship at Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn and a rotating internship at St. Clair Hospital in Schenectady, all in New York state.

He received his medical degree from T. N. National Medical College and served a rotating internship at Nair Hospital, both in Bombay, India .

Dr. Kini is a neurology instructor with the Belleville Family Practice Program and licensed in Illinois, Texas-where he previously practiced at Parkway Hospital in Houston-and New York.

A Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, he is a member of the St. Clair County and Illinois State Medical Societies, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Physicians from India and the Epilepsy Association of Southwest Illinois.
