David Kee, DPM, expands practice to Highland
Board-certified podiatrist David Kee, DPM, has expanded his practice, the Ankle and Foot Center of Southern Illinois, to the Highland area.
Dr. Kee began seeing patients mid-October in the Hospital Sisters Health System Health and Wellness Center at 1328 Mercantile Drive in Highland. The facility is in Woodcrest Plaza along US Route 40, south of Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell.
In addition to his new Highland practice, Dr. Kee will continue seeing patients at St. Joseph’s in Breese and at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Plaza in Mascoutah.
Dr. Kee was board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) in 2004. ABPS certification indicates the physician has graduated from a podiatric medical school, completed an approved podiatric surgical residency program and a minimum of four years post-graduation clinical experience, received approval of documented surgeries on all areas of the foot and ankle and successfully completed written and oral exams.
Originally from Beebe, Ark., Dr. Kee received his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, completing a two-year podiatric medical and surgical residency program at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington, Mo. He received his bachelor’s degree in education and biology from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Ark.
Dr. Kee was previously with Associated Foot Surgeons of Belleville.
The 3,100-square-foot Health and Wellness facility opened in April and includes five exam rooms, two exam/monitoring rooms, waiting room and reception area.
