CPR classes Feb. 2, Feb. 15

In conjunction with Go Red for Heart Health Month, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese will offer two Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) classes during February.

A Friends & Family CPR class is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, and a Heartsaver CPR session is planned for 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15. Both classes will be in the hospital Heritage Room.

The Friends & Family session teaches basic CPR and how to use an automatic external defibrillator; this is not a certification class. Cost is $10.

The Heartsaver class is designed for anyone who needs CPR certification to meet job requirements or for personal interest. Cost is $30 which includes the instruction manual.

CPR classes are offered on a monthly basis but as class size is limited, please call to confirm. Those registering may be referred to a later session.
