Auxiliary to host quilt raffle March 20

The Auxiliary at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese is offering multiple opportunities to win, bid on or buy a quilt during March.

Tickets at $1 each or six for $5 are now on sale in the Gift Shop for the Auxiliary’s Saturday, March 20, Spring Quilt Raffle.

The 91-inch by 110-inch spring raffle quilt, in light and navy blue and white with light and navy blue points, is pieced with cross-stitched blocks. The quilt is on display across from the Gift Shop at the hospital’s main entrance and can be seen on cable channel 10 and the hospital website, www.stjoebreese.com.

In addition, a silent auction quilt is displayed in the hospital Cafeteria Hallway with bids accepted until 3 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays. The next bids are due March 9 and March 23.

Queen-sized and baby quilts are for sale in the Gift Shop and the shop also stocks used books, seasonal and other merchandise. Auxiliary members additionally sell used books between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursdays in the Cafeteria Hallway.

All proceeds benefit St. Joseph’s in Breese.
