Competitive Edge Sports Medicine:

David Neighbors, MD, the HealthPlex medical director, has established a private practice, Competitive Edge Sports Medicine, at the facility. Dr. Neighbors received his medical degree from and completed his residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria and has over 30 years of sports medicine experience. He currently serves as the team physician for Greenville College and numerous area high schools. Having been a lifelong athlete and/or coach, including his current position as assistant baseball coach at Wesclin High School, Dr. Neighbors understands athletes well.
