KEYS-4-Life (Knowledge, Exercise & You)
Supervised exercise programs called KEYs-4-Life (Knowledge, Exercise & You) are offered at the HealthPlex. The programs focus on the treatment and prevention of the complications of arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, weight control, coronary artery disease, high blood pressure and peripheral vascular disease. Also planned are programs for teen strength and conditioning as well as prenatal and postpartum exercise.
Each KEY program includes lectures, a customized workout designed by an exercise specialist and access to the state-of-the-art HealthPlex exercise equipment for a specified length of time. Participants may continue to use the exercise equipment after the initial program for a monthly fee. A physician’s referral is needed.

KEYs-4-Life Diabetes
KEYs-4-Life Diabetes is available at the hospital HealthPlex. This program includes presentations by a registered nurse and certified athletic trainer plus eight weeks of access to the HealthPlex exercise facility. Blood pressure and weight is checked weekly with a final evaluation at the end of eight weeks.
Cost is $60 and participants can continue using the exercise facility after the initial eight weeks for $30 a month.
